    Storage can be at a premium in many Jeeps, particularly CJs and Wranglers, so Rugged Ridge has created some ingenious ways to use what space you have. This Overhead Storage Console is a perfect example. Rugged Ridge examined the space above the visors but below the top and found usable storage room, so they created this clever storage container. They made sure it wouldn’t interfere with soft tops or hard tops and would work whether the top was up or down. Because it’s mounted up high, they wanted it to be as light as possible, so instead of heavy steel, they made the console from durable, blow molded High Density Polyethylene (HDPE).

    Rugged Ridge made sure the console was easy to install without the need to modify your Jeep in any way, so they included slotted mounting brackets that could be secured to the roll bar on either side with special straps. And because they know that driving off-road can bounce any gear around that’s not secured, they included a non-skid pad adhered to the inside to keep gear from sliding around, and a mesh storage net to keep it safely stowed but accessible.

    The Rugged Ridge Overhead Storage Console comes with everything needed for installation, including detailed instructions, and it’s covered by a 5-year limited warranty.
